Crafted from black tailered fabric that scuplts the body, this gown is designed to highlight and
amplify a stunning handwoven green nacklace tracing the neckline.
This necklace is crafted from over 3,00,000 green beads encased in a mesh of red, white, yellow
and green beads. At its heart lies a precious heirloom — my mother’s vintage “Jhalar Teriya”,
handmade in the 1960s from pure silver and gold. This cherished piece infuses the design with
profound meaning and personal history.
The back of the gown features a delicate silk organza lotus, seamlessly blooming from the gown’s
silhouette into the back.
This creation is truly one of a kind. The presence of my mother’s piece elevates it beyind couture,
turning it into an emotional narrative - an expression of beauty, heritage and timeless value.
Clothing forms an emotion, a reflection of our essence, meant to be worn and re-worn, continually
adding layers of meaning and grace.
