This couture ensemble stands as a tribute to the intricate Meenakari designs that adorn jewellery. This jacket features a vibrant palette of rich blue, reflecting of lakh used in traditional jewellery. The intricate floral embroidery in paillettes and beads mimic the look of etched Meenakari in the shimmering blue lakh. The idea for it to look hand painted. The jacket is finished in gold borders as traditionally prints, garments and even jewellery are all finished with a border either in a similar or complimentary colour. Something that is observed throughout the collection. The look is completed with a skirt in layers of silk tulle in a rich blue hue.
