This collection is a dream re-imagined from my travel to Rajasthan with my mother and grandmother growing up. Seeing women living in their mundane, completely ornamented almost like a costume. The extraordinary in the ordinary waiting for it to be observed and brought to life.
INSPIRATION AND DEVELOPMENT
My design process commences with a journey down memory lane, gathering nostalgic elements and vivid moments from my past. Creating a memory map and later turning it into a visual representation that becomes the canvas for my sketches and key to the development process. The board becomes a tapestry of inspiration, woven from the rich threads of my heritage.
